Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility,  gentleness and patience. Colassians 3:12NIV

As we enter into a season of joyous celebrations of Thanksgiving and Christmas, I am very grateful for the outpouring of love our Middle School students have for others.  In following God’s commandment, we are actively engaging MS students to support two teenagers from Barahona, Dominican Republic (Mia and Fraylin) through Compassion International.  This is a 4-year commitment to walk along side these students as they grow from tweens to young adults. Our first steps in this journey of sharing Christ’s love worldwide is to be in prayer for Mia and  Fraylin each week during youth group meetings and to learn about their culture, country. Donations to the MS/HS “Supporting One of Our Own” collection box for December/January will help with education, food and clothing needs.

I also appreciated our students service locally to serve seven families from our Church through the Leaf Raking Project on November 7.  Save the date! Our next family service outreach project will be Caravan Caroling on December 12th, 1-4 pm.

Small Group Bible Studies Help Connect Biblical Truths To How God Wants Us to Live in 2020 every Thursday Nights 6:30-8:30 pm. We invite your students to join us in person or online through the Right Now Media series on Apologetics by Pastor Matt Chandler.

Sharing our faith stories of how Jesus changed our lives is very important to build up our Christian community. Did HE help you learn how to trust HIM in a joyful event, a frustrating event, a time of hurt or sadness, or provide you hope in a relationships or career pathway.? I am actively seeking stories and ask you to pray if it is on your heart to share your story this season. I look forward to seeing who God brings forward.
